i miss the crazy summer storms of the midwest. the thunder, the lightning, the smell in the air. we don't really get those types of storms out here. that is definitely one thing i miss about home. however, tonight i'm sitting on my front steps watching a lightning storm. hurray. or as close to a lightning storm as we'll get. my neighbor just reminded me of the dangers of lightning...so considerate. she's such a fun neighbor.
the past week has been wonderful. i've been working, exercising, and spending some fantastic quality time with my roommate; he's such a great guy.
