fireworks, friends, and new people

i really and truly have very few regrets about things i've done or not done. i see who i am today as a sum of all those events and since i'm very happy with where i'm at in life...i do however have one or two things i have regreted :) one of such regrets was yesterday, the 4th of july. no, the 4th of july was not my regret. i won't go into the details here but needless to say i was pretty disappointed in myself. nothing life altering, for those of you starting to worry! but it makes me think about regrets. missed opportunities is probably a better articulation. a chance for something potentially good to happen and i had to screw it up. i suppose its one of those growth experiences that people have...? i'm kicking myself in the butt tonight though. we'll see what happens, its not over yet.
