My nephew Logan was born so I had to post a picture, very cute boy! He was almost 12 pounds, my sister in law is AMAZING.

weekend plans

i've got the weekend to myself since my roommate is gone. took him to the airport this afternoon and now am kind of bored. i think i'll do something creative with my room. not really sure what yet...maybe some paint. chelle and ryan inspired me with their painting adventures. or maybe something else. it seems like a good weekend to let out some creative juices.

i received my diploma in the mail today! now they can never take it back. now the question is what in the world to do with it?? any suggestions?

i'm off to work. i have a feeling its going to be slow...SO if you know where i work and want to come say hi...
AND I just found out my sis-in-law was induced this morning so i'll be an aunt again soon. praying that the delivery goes smoothly and that everyone is healthy.

portland and me in the summer, ahhh. i'm finishing up for the year, the school year that is. it's the end of my second year of graduate school. i can't believe i'm starting the third year in just a couple months. i'd like to say i'm gonna have the summer off but the time has come where i can't ignore my dissertation anymore. so as much as i love the sun, the library will be calling my name. i'm also wrapping up my practicum site and reflecting over my experiences there. i've learned alot. also, i'm now a workin' girl once again. trying to support my extravagant lifestyle ;) the roommate and i are initiating the summer merriment in what will soon become the bdun-mer tradition i feel. sarah and i will be rockin' the suburbs this summer with some trips to the coast. had the first bbq of the summer on saturday with the 'hort. it's our second annual (with a third and fourth to follow) complete with everything a summer bbq should have and hillbillie golf. i have a feeling this summer will be different for me, i feel like i've grown in some small but very significant ways over the past 6 months. i'm excited to see what's in store for the rest of the year.
